Well, that would be quite annoying to me if that happened to me.
try to uninstall it and use a version that wasn't bugged for you.
I keep all of my install .exe so that, I can go back several versions if the need arises.

I want to report a bug, that keeps Terminal options in WinX start menu after installing SAB, I'm on 3.7.7 version.

What I've done to fix that:

- removed powershell shortcuts from both user and default WinX folders,
- removed "Open in Windows Terminal" context menu for all and current user from registry,
- disabled all SAB settings, leaving enhanced taskbar on,
- restarted explorer/vm many times,

and it seemed to remove these terminal options when SAB is not installed, and when installed - with enhanced taskbar option disabled. Once I activate enhanced taskbar again, terminal options are visible again.

If you want no Terminal in Win-X, uninstall it; why go around wrecking up files and registry.

Uninstall terminal? Nah I use it everyday. What I actually want to do is to keep one of the options and rename it.

Please please please add the ability to turn off aero peek for taskbar buttons. It's really annoying me. I move the mouse cursor to the bottom of the maximised MS Word program for example, to edit some text, accidentally go too far and go over a taskbar button, and a thumbnail appears, blocking my view of Word. Sometimes if I move the mouse away, it will disappear, but a lot of the time it doesn't. I've tried the two ways (registry and control panel) of stopping it in windows, but it's not working, possibly because startallback has taken over that part of the interface?).

Typical, I try to post a screenshot and it's now decided to change the thumbnails to just words. It's not even consistent!

I don't think Tihiy can do much about that. It's Windows that has this strange behaviour that one open window causes a thumbnail, while more than one cause text (if you forbid thumbnails).

But you can delay the appearance of the thumnails/text when hovering the taskbar.

That does function in combination with StartAllBack as well (tested it just a few moments ago).

The hover time is ignored by my windows. I've tried that many times, it sticks to a fraction of a second no matter what I put in. I guess one of my 3rd party programs is screwing it up, or more likely another windows bug.

I've found 7+ Taskbar Tweaker (recommended in another thread), which seems to work in conjunction with startallback, even though it says not for windows 11. It may be startallback is reverting some interface to 10 as I chose in the main option, allowing 7+ taskbar tweaker to work.

So if it can do it, why can't startallback?

Maybe ask the developer ?
Can't satisfy every one all of the time.
Maybe, your Windows is not as good as it should be.

I thought this was the place to communicate with the developer.

Windows doesn't behave consistently, a bug might only occur on certain hardware, combinations of 3rd party programs, etc.

If you want to direct your post to the developer of StartAllBack add @Tihiy to your post so that he will be notified. Or you could join the StartAllBack forum.

I couldn't find a startallback forum, this appeared to be it, he doesn't even have a website. Nevermind I got mine working with another program.

Sounds like the Microsoft site, I tried to post there, was told I'd forgotten some pointless thing like flair, corrected it, then was banned for 24 hours for posting twice in a row, even though the first hadn't gone through. I complained and they couldn't seem to understand the simple problem.

I use all software for free. My suggestions help others too with improvements to the software.

Most software is incomplete and full of bugs. Call me a beta tester. They should be paying me.

That is called software piracy, not beta testing, lol.

If I couldn't use it free, I wouldn't use it. So they lose nothing. Anyway it's acceptable to use startallback without paying, I just get a notice every time I start the computer.
