I just installed Windows 11 25H2 but MS said they should introduce this security feature on 25H2 but i don't see it under the Windows Security and Account Protection.

Can anyone please confirm this if you are on the 25H2 Production build?

Yup. You can enable it via a Registry patch but the GUI in Windows Security Account Protection won't show up. I'm running 25H2.

Thank you to all of the replies. It was the feature that I was looking forward to.

Anyways, guess we need to be patient and wait.

You can enable it with vivetool id 45172197

The only issue I've had so far is when it's on you can't save your bitlocker key to your Microsoft account and I've been using it since July

It only works when you log in with an Admin account. As I normally use a 'user account', it offers no extra protection for ME

When I wrote that it was enough, sorry.
Current state of these:

1760203656526.webp

1760203715212.webp

1760203769485.webp

If I enable all 4 I get the option in settings, but it still does not ask for the pin when I open a command as admin. 🤷‍♂️
Something is fishy, maybe Brink can explain why it does not work. 😎

Yes, enabling 45172197 and 51406324 it shows up in the settings, but it doesn't work as it did previously.
When I enable it and reboot, it is not asking for the PIN anymore when opening anything as Administrator.
It just behaves the same way as when it is disabled. 😵‍💫🤷‍♂️

Not on 26200.6725.
I tried on 26220.6780 and 26120.6780 and it still did not work as it used to. 😵‍💫🤷‍♂️

Edit:
Same ids 45172197,51406324 are required for build 26200.6725.
Still, it has the same problem as Dev and Beta.
That is probably why MS is not rolling it out yet. 😵‍💫🤷‍♂️

Yes, it shows, but it is not working as expected.
It is not asking for the credential verification with the PIN anymore.
It used to ask for the PIN in the past experiments every time I tried to open any app with "Run as administrator". 😵‍💫😂🤷‍♂️
I think MS is still messing with this. 🤬

Have you tried toggling it off, rebooting and toggling it on again and rebooting? Does everything work when its reenabled.
