Hi, I have been unable to perform a update from Win11 23h2 to 24h2 and every time i try to perform it I get the same error. Is there anything else I can do than a clean installation of Win 11 again. I mean this installation I have been running for two years now but still.

Ive tried some tutorials with run to stop some aplications restart them and rerun them again but nothing worked so far. Wumt also couldent help me.

I don’t believe you do.
Just uncheck the updates part, but you’re doing fine.

Option One requires the internet.

went thro the whole update it updated but when i did winver it shows still win 23h2 and I got this in windows update.

what now should I go with option 2 which is putting new installation on usb key?

also my toolbar on the bottom is black ..

Try the In-Place Upgrade, Option Two (the ISO method), and use the 24H2 ISO from UUP Dump...

Can't get past 23h2

Been trying for a week to get my pc upgraded to W11 - Finally got it to get to W11 23h2 but cannot get it any further. Can even do an In place upgrade to W11 23h2 again, but not to 24h2 or 25h2. Dell PC, i7, 12th gen. Fails with "SECOND BOOT". I'm new here - any advice is appreciated

If you can get to 24H2, then you can just use the Enablement Package to get to 25H2...
The EP takes 3 seconds and a reboot, but you need to be on 24H2 to use it.

Have you checked that your CPU can handle the SSE4.2 instruction set that is necessary for 24H2 & 25H2?

If you're trying to upgrade the computer with the AMD 3600, it has the proper instruction sets.

Use CPU-Z to get your System Specs...

CPU-Z (free), will show you make/model for everything except: drives, case and power supply. You'll need to add make/model for monitor, keyboard and mouse as well. That info should be easy to find. Portable version: https://download.cpuid.com/cpu-z/cpu-z_2.17-en.zip

Can't get past 23h2

Been trying for a week to get my pc upgraded to W11 - Finally got it to get to W11 23h2 but cannot get it any further. Can even do an In place upgrade to W11 23h2 again, but not to 24h2 or 25h2. Dell PC, i7, 12th gen. Fails with "SECOND BOOT". I'm new here - any advice is appreciated

Im trying now over the UUP. Do I need to put it on usb or i have to mount it as iso or just run it from the pc ?

Make sure everything is compatible by running PC Health check. Check if a device meets Windows 11 system requirements after changing device hardware - Microsoft Support

Make sure you are running the latest bios.

Then, You can chase your tail if you want to but my advice is to back up your data and clean install 25h2.

If you want a potential fix then post log files for troubleshooting.

If you want to custom or clean install then plan to reinstall drivers and applications and restore backed up files.

try what I did, use RUFUS, disable checks. Run the install inside currently working windows.
I downloaded the 25H2 ISO and used RUFUS on a usb drive. I was able to keep all programs and files.

My PC does not meet windows 11 requirements, but win 11 pro runs great
