Try the three dots option, see if there is such a option to turn them off .

I haven't seen a way to remove the "Suggested" section from Windows Search yet either. :(

Also, I have posted elsewhere on the forum a note about a little program called Power Start Menu that is available from the Store. It completely removes the Suggested section from Start, and it can do several other things, too.Clipboard01.jpg

My settings are like yours & I also use that great little app.
This is Windows Search though, not Windows Start.

I don't recall to be disabling anything.
