Solved Can't remove Steam icon from All apps in Start menu

I already uninstalled Steam but the icon is still showing in the All apps in Start menu. When I right click, select uninstall, it just takes me to Installed apps in Settings but Steam is not on the list of apps installed anymore. How can I remove the Steam icon from Start menu?

When you right click it select more and go to 'open file location'. It should give you the option to delete it.

I'm not sure what the OP did to "uninstall", but the icon should definitely be removed when you uninstall the app.

Is it the actual steam icon or is it a blank icon that says it is?

Dbl check you actually uninstalled it. Check Microsoft Store. Can you have the native installer and the Microsoft Store version installed at the same time? I don’t know.

Check it isn’t still hanging around

You could try reinstalling it, removing it with Revo uninstaller freeware edition.

If you’re positive it is uninstalled, go into the following folders and see if the icon/shortcut is in there. Delete it.
