Suggestion For A Suitable UPS - Not APC

I have two NAS units running 24/7, and get the occasional power outage (generally just no power for 1-2 seconds) during the year. When the Black Friday sales were on in November here in the UK, I finally order two APC UPS 1200VA - BX1200MI units. That was on 29th November. It's now the 27th December and they still haven't shipped them yet, but the same units are still being sold, with a delivery date of 8th January.

Today, I decided to finally cancel the order. Not because it's taking that long, but since I've been waiting, I've been reading a lot of reviews about them, and for a big name brand that I recognised, I wasn't impressed. Lots of quality control issues, noise issues and worryingly, a constant smell like burning plastics.

The plan is to have a UPS for each NAS, both using PowerChute to shut the NAS down after about 15 minutes, as both units support it, if the power doesn't come back on. The APC ones I ordered may have been overkill, but I'm not clued up on how to determine the correct unit based on the NAS power supply wattage and operational consumption. What I know about the two NAS units are as follows:

Asustor AS-604T : PSU 250W / Power consumption 40W
Synology DS420J : PSU 90W / Power consumption 22W

Any suitable recommendations from other suppliers for the UK market that would suffice for those power requirements? I can then use those as a starting point for maybe a slighter higher rated one.

I have this on my System One. Have been using it now for my desktop for the last 7 years, (6.5 years on my old desktop before and now on my new System One.

Works good, battery is replaceable and I did that once a year ago.

I've used a few UPSes from CyberPower. I'm in the US, but they have a UK presence.

I don't know how they compare to APC. But they've worked for me. No noises or fires.

The CyberPower UPS mentioned in post #2 is rated at 1000VA/600W. (The VA thing is for a partly reactive load.) Its battery is listed as 12V/9Ah, which would be 108Wh. Naively, that would give 10 minutes at 600W, but it's spec'd at 2 minutes. 9 minutes at half power. (Not what I'd call linear.) I presume it would go for much longer than 15 minutes at 40W.

On my system at idle, it is using 13%, which is good for 55 minutes, (see image in my post). That is plenty of time for me to turn everything off. If one needs their system to run drawing 600 watts for any time at all, then no, this would not be for you. Sorry, I did not understand he was needing that much backup power, I guess I did not read the post that completely, my fault. They do make others that supply more power for a longer time.

"Steamship" doesn't need high power. The more power-hungry NAS uses 40W max.
