Supposedly removed Copilot keeps sending preview menus in desktop Outlook

I'm on Win 24H2 4351. My Office 2021 Outlook app and messages now have an annoying Copilot menu thing on upper right. I supposedly had removed copilot (doesn't show in the installed apps list) but the damned thing won't go away. Notepad also has it but has a setting for it, and looks like you can get rid of it in Edge, but I tried anything I could find on Outlook (desktop, I don't have Office 365) to no avail.

Any help will be greatly appreciated

Copilot (crapalot) is insidious - it is like whack-a-mole. You kill it in one place and it craps up elsewhere!

In Outlook, select file>options>General>Privacy Settings>click privacy settings button>Under Connected Experiences
turn off (uncheck) "experiences that analyze your content" See if that will get rid of it.

This is the info I get:

Outlook 2021 (Classic) ‑ No Copilot

If you're genuinely on Office 2021 Classic (perpetual), you won’t have any Copilot feature in Outlook.
If Copilot appears in Outlook, you're likely using the new Outlook connected to Microsoft 365

The “New Outlook” app is not a paid service it comes with Windows.

I ,originally installed the Office 2021 Classic and have never Microsoft 365, so somehow the new Outlook must have been installed by an update. I'll check on that possibly happening. Thanks.

@antspants brings up a good point. I use classic Outlook 2021. No outlook new here. You can tell which one you are using this way. If in Outlook you see "file" in upper left corner, it's outlook classic. If you do not see it, it's Outlook New.

The “New Outlook” is the replacement for Windows Mail etc (Windows mail apps) It’s a default app. You don’t have to install M365 to get it.

You can uninstall it quite easily (Search for it, “Outlook New” or “New Outlook” or just “Outlook” right click on the result, uninstall)

Just make sure you’re uninstalling the right app. Having said that, you would be warned if you were trying to uninstall Outlook Classic (from Office 2021) because you can uninstall individual apps from Office 2021.

I get two choices on the message window, Reply and Summarize. On the Outlook window I gat five choices: Chat, Reply, Draft, Summarize and Prioritize.

I can't find an Outlook New or New Outlook. I looked in the Control Panel programs and in the settings Apps list. I only show the Office 2021 Outlook:
Microsoft® Outlook® 2021 MSO (Version 2505 Build 16.0.18827.20102) 64-bit

Looks like Microsoft is hoping we'll just accept Copilot one way or another, even if it tortures us ...

Type it into search in the Taskbar bar, it will show, then right click etc as mentioned above. Or see if you can spot it in Revo.
if it doesn’t show then I am not sure.

Bingo! Following some of the web entries from there I got an eliminating New Outlook by using the registry, but after adding the indicated entry and rebooting, still there! BTW, the entry in the start apps list shows it as "Outlook (classic)". Ill do some more research ...

So that sounds to me like it's 2021 classic, not 365, but I've also got a shiny new Copilot button that I didn't ask for.

That's us, Classic with an annoying Copilot Preview button, compliments of Microsoft. Hopefully they'll add a settings for it like they did in Notepad.

This copilot is unwanted and there should be an option to remove it from our Outlook !
Untill now , no solution in this forum , after searching Google , etc .........not possible to remove
