I have recently got an issue where the taskbar takes a while to appear when starting up my computer. I have done restarts but the issue comes time to time and it's relatively a new issue.

I have a Notebook showing the same slowness but it's one from 2014 running Win10 that I did the experimental single-file tweak Upgrade to Win11 on. It works fine after the Task bar has loaded.

I mean it does work fine, I just prefer it to not happen at all. I just wanna keep my Windows installation maintained and be reliable as it was before if that is even possible in this case.

Unfortunately "before" is incomplete, before what? Every thing we do on computers has an effect and attention has to be paid to what was working that was messed up after some type of change. And it's useless to compare one computer to another, only time 2 computers are the same is on the shelf before being sold, take them home, set them up and do anything and they will have differences, some small, that can affect their performance. I don't do any customizations by third-party add-in as I have to see what my clients see but I can have 2 or 3 instances of File Explorer running Firefox open and playing music in the background. I do have more than the minimum required amount of RAM installed, e.g. if a machine came with 4GB I try to double it, 8GB to 16GB, as soon as possible [usually cheaper that what the OEM wants].

What do you have that starts when the computer enters Windows that may cause a delay?
Antivirus loading could be a factor. I am not sure how to prioritise/delay something with software/apps.

Whenever Windows is acting weird... run these commands...

Open a command prompt as Admin, and run... sfc /scannow

IF... SFC finds any errors (fixed or not), run this command next... Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

The taskbar won't completely load until all startup services and apps are loaded. I would suggest you open task manager>startup(It's the 5th icon down in the side panel)
Disable any unnecessary or unwanted stuff from loading in the background at startup by right clicking on the task and selecting disable. If you do not know what task a program is related to, right click and select properties or file location. Be sure and keep record of what you disabled so if any problems are encountered you can enable a task at startup if necessary.

You could disable anything that you feel might hinder the loading of the taskbar.
I would suggest that you could test this by disabling startup items one by one and rebooting.

If you find the culprit, you could disable it in the start up and then create a schedule in Task Scheduler to run the app after a delay when Windows boots.
I have done this for some software, like FreeFileSync

I can't remember really accurately when it did start happening but I always update my installation as often as possible. So it might've come with a update not sure though.

I would suggest that you verify that you have the Preview update in the Update History.
This might jog your memory as to when this started.

Settings / Windows Update / Update History. Click on it and see if it's installed.

Your PC specs have nothing to do with this, you have an SSD and good specifications otherwise. It is something to do with software installed on the computer. Have you recently installed anything? Do you recall updating the PC? Do you have any third-party antivirus? What programs autostart?

We could also try to uninstall the latest update to see if this has
any bearing on the taskbar being slow to load. This update will be offered again
in next month's updates because this is only a Preview and has caused some
grief on other systems.
