You could try the following, I wouldn’t be too confident that it would fix the issue as the other icons look just fine. Something is obviously bent and out of place with that user folder icon.

Most research on Google points toward running Thumbnail cleanup within Disk Cleanup Admin...
(There was also some talk about disabling Fast Startup)

I had tries turning off Fast Startup with no success.

Disk Cleanup worked !
