TOP 5 BEST/ POPULAR PROGRAMS BY CATEGORY...

I like Corel's PaintShop Pro 2022 for doing graphics/pictures, myself. I also prefer MS Edge to Chrome as you can see/fit more favorites on the favorites bar as it gives you the option to 'Show icon only'. No other program compares to Calibre for ebook management/ library. Outlook still rules for an email client for me. Bitwarden for passwords is my preference. Visual Studio Code for code editor if you add that listing. I am surprised there is no mention of Tor Browser or a listing for FTP clients. One of my favorite utilities is Default Program Editor (Default Programs Editor), BTW.

When 11 was released on 5th October it was re-imaged back to 10 and was offered the upgrade in Windows Update on 20th October. Windows Update offered the 22H2 Feature Update on 20th September 2022. It got the 23H2 Feature Update on 4th November 2023 through Windows Update.

I still have every version of PSP installed, starting with v 4.12 There was a bit more of a learning curve with the latest Corel one, but just customizing the toolbar for what I do the most got me using and liking it :)

ExpressVPN was always rated well, but now it is owned by Kape Technologies. Kape was formerly Crossrider, and also owns CyberGhost, Zenmate, and a few VPN “Review” websites. Articles Here and Here

I gave my daughter my last copy of Paint Shop Pro when Jasc sold out to Corel. She's become quite proficient with it. I always bought the full version upgrade so I could give her my older one.

It's come a long way and is very good now.
You are correct, except that, I still feel that Bing hits sway more towards Trending results, where Google tries to remain technical and relative.

I honestly get virtually the same results with either one.

I do agree with the pick of Thunderbird for an email client. It's the closest thing to Outlook (very similar actually) with the advantage of being free.

Yeah, quite often, depends also on your search settings.
Bing, actually, is often more informative!
For instance, I search Google for lasagna and get what it is, recipes and restaurant results..., Bing will actually return nutritional info, etc.

I'm pleasantly surprised to see that Bing's voice search is completely responsive, if not more responsive than Google's!
Why? Cuz I'm lazy! I hate typing if I don't have to!

I gave my daughter my last copy of Paint Shop Pro when Jasc sold out to Corel. She's become quite proficient with it. I always bought the full version upgrade so I could give her my older one.
Did someone say they like Jasc Paint Shop Pro?
