I used PSP 2018, v20, for a long time -- then I was offered a discount to upgrade to PSP 2022 -- but when I installed it, it took up GBs of storage! So, I uninstalled it and went back to 2018 -- which takes less than 250MB of storage.

In both cases, download the ISO image and save it to your desktop.
Then MOUNT the image.

Open the mounted Image and then open either the hidden (PSP9 > Paint Shop Pro 9 folder in the PSP 9.01 ISO) or the (PSP folder in the PSP 7.04), and right click the .msi installer (which will be at the bottom), and choose: Install. That's it, and it's legal... now.

Animation shop install "with" PSP 7.04 automatically.
For Animation Shop in PSP 9.01, you'll have to separately run the Jasc Animation Shop 3.msi installer in the PSP9 folder.

You installed it incorrectly. See above.

If you install from the normal setup.exe, you'll get the trial. You need to find the hidden .msi installer.

I just did it for both the PSP 7.04 Anniversary and the PSP 9.01


For PSP 9.01 ...each of these folders has it's own .msi installer that needs to be run separately.
Even the autorun.exe will not work. You'll still get the trial.
The 1st time you run PSP 9.01, you'll have to close out of a few boxes. They won't return.

I downloaded the V7 file and installed it in Win 11 using the .msi file. It installed fine and works. There are some options that are very dated though. Like file sizes for jpegs according to internet speed. I'll keep it for now. I have always used IrfanView as my primary editor and Paint.net for the things IrfanView can't do.

I find it can be hit or miss with Bing. A lot depends on what you're searching for. Bing is certainly much more accurate and powerful than it used to be just a couple of years ago

Yes it is. I used to hate it but it's come a long way. Not just for standard search but I do a lot of online shopping and Bing, combined with Edge, gives very useful info on where the best deals are.
