It will be a lot slower and take a lot longer to get a full charge on your phone through your USB port of your computer as opposed to a charging adapter. But, yes it will work.

That's how I charge my cell phone.
It doesn't take me any longer than the stand alone fast charger.

Just make sure the cable you use to charge the phone can handle high wattage (faster charging).

I use a 100W Anker USB-C cable, to charge my Galaxy A54 5G

Hey T2T, some later model PCs have a powershare fast charging usb port designated for charging such devices as phones. This symbol is on only one usb port.. My phone charges much faster using this port than it does using the power adapter provided by Apple.

Most newer Dells have a lightening bolt symbol. Some older ones have a tiny battery symbol like this.

seems every port works have DELL INSPRON 3020

They will all work but not equally.

As far as I can tell from the manual it is likely the USB-C connector would supply the highest wattage hence charging speed.

Yes, as Helmut said, they will all charge your phone but not exactly in the same way. Powershare ports allows you to charge other USB devices or accessories, even when the computer is powered off or in sleep mode.

I checked and that model does not have a powershare port. So just use one of the others.
