Please note that changes to the BIOS setup must be saved to be retained. Look for a "Save and Exit" function.

You have to save changes you made in BIOS try F10 key to save changes.

I am aware of that and have saved all changes, but none of them seem to stick - A message saying no changes were made to the BIOS pops up when I click on f10 or save?

Are you referring to a firmware TPM (fTPM in AMD systems, PTT with Intel), or a discrete TPM?

At the risk of giving insult, you have to be sure to select the firmware TPM in the BIOS settings. Turning on the discrete TPM won't do much for you unless you have the module. (Few do.)

If the system is the one in "My Computer", are you aware that the 1700X is not a supported CPU for Windows 11? Windows processor requirements Windows 11 supported AMD processors

The easy way to check on whether TPM is enabled is to look in device manager under security devices.

It is a firmware ftpm AMD.
Something disabled it and I have failed (so far) to enable it again?
Incidentally I had a message a few days ago from microsoft in the Updates section of settings, saying that they were looking to enable more 7 type processors very soon! I forget the actual wording but the impression was that my processor will soon be supported.
