I am trying to get a finger print scanner on a new laptop to work but it only works at the beginning of the setup process after getting along at the ending it refuses to register my finger lol.

Anyway to fix this ?

Is Windows Hello using with a camera better? The laptop camera does not support it though

When my fingerprint sensor stops working, a reboot seems to fix it. Sometimes the PIN will also fail and I am unable to log in; again a reboot fixes it.

I use a Logitech Brio 4k webcam for Windows Hello\facial recognition and find it great.
