Two unusual power config option problems

OS
Windows 11
I have disable everything related to sleep, screen off, and hibernation.

I run several laptops remotely using ScreenConnectControl. They are positioned with their lid closed and always running at client offices. When migrating from Windows 10 to Windows 11, there is no video displayed in the remote connection to these remote clients. Video works in the same remote access setup with Windows 10. With Windows 11 Video only works with the lid open. (The Lid closed setting is set as "do nothing")

Second question. I have disable hibernation, sleep etc. When I "SHUT DOWN" these computers from the start menu they bypass the BIOS post when I turn them on. And they come on almost instantly as if they were in Hibernation. I have to remove the battery and pull the power, to get them to start up with the BIOS post. Of course the blue-button and F12 do nothing on startup.

They are at a client offices. The bank officer that sets them up for me usually has them sitting on his desk and would prefer to have them closed for privacy. They are only at the client office for a day or two so a more permanent location like a the server room isn't convenient.

The Pro version.

Have you tried another remote access program? I am not an IT professional but I look after friends and family. TeamViewer is excellent. Maybe the issue is with the video driver installed by ScreenConnectControl. An alternative would be a mini PC desktop with no monitor attached (except for setup).

ScreenConnectControl is the agent based remote access app used by most banks when they have a managed network service, so we use it on on the laptops we ship to banks for audits, because we know their firewalls well let our laptop connect to our office.

The ScreenConnect issue with the lid closed is resolved (sort of) I have been installing (not upgrading) Win11 on multiple old laptops. I just found that some of them have the closed lid issue and others don't. I just moved the hard drive from one laptop to another and the problem was solved on the laptop that had the problem. So there is a software detail not controllable with power settings in one the installations that is causing the problem.

Thanks for your feedback

I'd love to know which banks are using old laptops to interface with the evil world out there!

Please confirm that Lloyds is not a customer of yours! No disrespect to you, sir.

Windows 11 has lots of issues with power plans! Plans customised in Control Panel are not visible in WIN+I ...Power and Battery...Power Mode.
But they do work if you ignore the latter settings options.

We use T430s Lenovos configured with a clean installation of the latest operating system, fully updated and with good anti-virus software. Once we are on the internal network, they are perhaps the safest devices on the network because they don't have a user opening email or surfing the net and the only outbound connection they are permitted is the ScreenConnect connection to our office. No inbound connections from internal banking systems to our system are permitted that could allow an exploit that may have occured on a bank system to propagate to our system. The IT and compliance managers and bank security administrators at several hundred banks don't see a problem.
