Unable to make C:\Program Files NOT read-only


@Birk You keep saying it doesn't work, but we have no idea what you're actually trying to do. LesFerch mentioned doing some testing, but we're all just guessing at what doesn't work. If you could be more clear than "it's broken," we could do some testing.

The problem is that I am unable to change any of the app's parameters if it installed in Windows/Program Files, but it works OK installed anywhere else.
