Updates

Maybe it’s just me but when I do the cumulative updates for the insider program I don’t see any changes. Am I not doing something I should be?

Any changes to the OS after the updates, are listed in the first posts of the threads for those updates.

The threads get posted in the Windows 11 News forum section and the most recent are a sticky thread at the top.
Insider threads are marked as “Insider” in a blue button, as follows:





If you click on the Blue button that says “Insider” all the insider related updates & news will open to one page.

If in any of those Insider Cumulative Update or Cumulative Preview threads there are changes listed that you have not seen or cannot find, then yes, you must be doing something wrong, but more likely, something isn’t working correctly.

Having said that: Most cumulative updates are functional (backend) or are on a Rollout system (gradual release) and not so much UI based or interactive, so they would be easy to miss.

Are you talking about receiving new Features?

Most of them are on a "slow rollout" even though you're on a Insider build.

For this to work, Get the latest updates as soon as they're available needs to be left toggled ON.

I update every one as they come in
