Vivaldi browser, anyone using it ?

You can change the font size in vivaldi :)

I'm on Vivaldi now. No autocomplete unless it's something you have to enable. I did look through the settings quickly but didn't see it. Changed the colors to suit my taste and did a few other cosmetic changes. I'm thinking I might use this as a backup browser. I'm used to Edge Dev and have it setup to where I like it. Can't really see a need to change at the moment.

Ahh I just googled to see of it has it and from what I found it does. Must be a setting but they're settings list is massive by comparison to most browsers which I like

Same here. I think I'm just going to leave things alone for now. I have Firefox and Brave. Looks like Vivaldi has gotten a bit bloated since I last used it.

I just searched for autocomplete and then predictive text for Vivaldi on Google. Didn't find anything. Searched in the settings as well - nothing. I'll look more when I have time.

Hmm, il have a look too when I can, not at the pc atm but il check when I can and see what it's got under the hood. Ahh sorry are you meaning like predictive text? Oh I'm not sure I thought you meant autofill for some things. Predictive text hurts me so much xD. Partly due to being scottish and we use a lot of different words/spellings lol

If you mean auto-complete in the address field then yes, Vivaldi does have it and it's enabled by default (Settings > Address Bar > Address Auto-Complete). You might need to build up some history first for it to be noticeable.
There's also an option for search suggestions, but out of the box, that setting is disabled for privacy reasons. You can enable it from Settings > Search > Allow Search Suggestions.
Auto-fill is on as well.
Auto-correct? Nope (not on desktop, at least). Just the good old spell check.

I am assuming by autocomplete, he is referring to word completion/predictive text, not form filling? Predicting what word he is typing and offering suggestions? No?

Yep, that's the one - word prediction. It turns out it doesn't have it.

I like Edge because of the show icons-only option on my Favorites bar but have Vivaldi loaded as a second-choice browser. I did use it exclusively before they improved Edge. I thought it was better than Chrome.

Same here in terms of using it as my secondary browser. Edge Dev doesn't display some page addresses, so I have to load those in something else. I need to look to see how much memory Vivaldi eats when running, though.

Microsoft Word has it, and it hasn't been available all that long, so I'd be surprised if it did. In fact, Word will predict a whole phrase!

I have used Vivaldi and I thought it was beyond any other browser for Customization. And in todays world there are 2 things we people like in a browser. One is customization and Two is Security. Vivaldi has the customization and Brave has the Security. I love Brave. I almost used it over Edge. I left as a 20 year Chrome user and went to Edge after I hopped onto Windows 11 and Microsoft totally had revamped it. Now I use Edge period. But everything is personal choice which is great that there are so many browser options out there to choose from.

Yes, it's nice in Word, since I use it so much. I use Firefox as my default browser, so know nothing much about Edge, except that when I do a clean install, point Edge at Firefox, I'm told I don't need anything but Edge. Grrrrrrrrrr! I know what I want! That, I find very invasive.

If you want a lightweight browser try Palemoon It's based on Firefox.

How does Edge get worse with each update, and I mean please use a little more information. Also, I'm not sure if @Edwin was discussing Vivaldi, which is what this main thread is about, or Edge.
