The maximum possible score for each category is 9.9.

Meaningful? No, not really. Just a crude measure of performance. And I see no sense in making the overall 'score' equal to whatever performed worst.

There are far better benchmarks if you're interested in that sort of thing. It's usefulness can be judged by the fact that Microsoft dropped showing it in all versions of Windows after Windows 7.

Thanks - I love this old machine - 10 seconds to boot to desktop, never a slow down, beautiful screen.... nothing at the moment tempts me to move from it....

Just upgraded my system nvme SSD from a 5yr old 512MB Samsung 960 Pro to a 1TB WDC Black SN850, though it is limited by PCI-E 3.0 and 10th gen, it is much better.
Yeah, stupid overall score, so just ignore that.
