You can get same average scores for two totally different setups but pcs real performance totally depends on what you are using pc for.

There are far better benchmarking tools around.

The speed of the Disk I/O subsystem is usually far more important than almost anything else on domestic computers using typical workloads e.g browsing, watching videos, office type stuff etc.

an i3 with 8GB RAM but super fast NVme disks with decent cache sizes will outperform an i7 8GB RAM computer fitted with slowish 5400 RPM spinners with poor cache sizes. !!!! -- on typical workloads. I.e as a user sees it sitting at the computer.

OK gaming etc needs very fast CPU's and good video and if you are running any sort of server or DB systems including Forums and e-commercve then you need gear that can handle internet requests and DB queries very fast but I'm referring to typical workloads that around 90% of all windows users do.

You can find your numbers in this directory
C:\Windows\Performance\WinSAT\DataStore

On my little mini-PC that I run Windows 11 on, this is what I see in that .xml file.

You got that right. :)

Here's mine, and overall is whatever scored the worst (8.15).
The average however, is 9.19

I guess MS didn't want to pay for that extra line of code, to calculate the average.
