No , i havent tried to uninstall the drivers from device manager. I will give it a try.Have you tried Deleting/Uninstall the disks from device manager and letting Windows re detecting the drives? and Reboot.
I've had occasions where the disk is not showing properly, and doing this fixes the problem. I think the registry entry gets corrupted.
I see you have tried this but did you do both disks? and the IDE ATA/ATAPI controller drivers. Use standard MS ones on all devices.
If you could guess i think i would guess that something in the registry messed up, but runing the scan didnt found errors at all.
