IE on Win11 22H2.png

Included.
But pointless.
And awkward to use. You can browse, you can paste addresses in its address bar to get to them & you can use, for example, the LesFerch vbs but Edge catches all my attempts to launch url shortcuts in it.
There's a discussion in
IE in Windows 11 using the LesFerch method - das10 #10 - TenForums

I switched to using a seperate hardware VPN a couple of years ago - It's a specialist Router so If I need full security [Client confidentiality agreements Etc], I simply route through the specific router.

I also have a software VPN as part of my Bitdefender Pro setup that prompts me to use it's VPN if I visit anywhere potentially dangerous

I was sincerely wondering why you even made it a choice!
And awkward to use.
You can barely navigate the web with it, but, oddly enough, tons of MS sites work just fine!!!

Well @James,

Please enlighten us with you conclusions - I bet they bear no reality with "real world use". This is estimated market share for Jan 2022 to Jan 2023

It shows same as always - Chrome is still the major leader by a long way, Edge is ahead of the rest but still a long way to go.

If you go back a while, Firefox had a bigger share and IE was used. However Firefox is in decline and Edge will slowly increase as new users buy pcs and find built in Edge pretty much does all they need. Firefox will never get back to its peak.

Chrome will always be the leader - in part historical but also it syncs well with android devices (twice as many as Apples). The only reason I have it installed is now and then a site that was around in IE days refuses to play well with Edge (even in so called compatibility mode), and Chrome is usually fine.

The problem with polls like this on this type of forum, is you are asking a small but well informed section of the community who often try other things because they like to do so.

In the real world (ignoring Safari/Opera as not really Windows) the browser wars of a decade ago have long gone.

Nowhere near the shortest, @Edwin, You have to realise that Shawn @Brink is not Human - He's been known to issue the ban before the prospective user has finished creating the account
Not exactly true @Brink is non trinary - part human, part alien, part god.
