I have Windows 11 Pro 21H2 OS build 22000.675
A windows update was running (new feature release blocked in Group Policy) today and I got this message on the restart:

Automatic Repair couldn't repair your PC. Shut down or turn off your PC. The Log file in System32\logfiles\Srt\SrtTrail.txt content is below:

Also indicated in update history is that two updates failed.
KB 5017328 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 0x80240035
KB 5016497 Cumulative Update For Net Framework 3.5, 4.8 and 4.8.1 0x8007054f How do I troubleshoot this issue?

It sounds like the disk metadata (file table) has been corrupted. Run "chkdsk c: /f" from an elevated command prompt. If you can't get into windows, then run it from a command line boot.
