What is alternative tool for chkdisk in windows 11 ?

Sometimes I need to do chkdsk on my C:\ drive and using chkdsk require to wait untill finished then enter windows which will take long time so I wonder if there is a tool I can use to do the same work but inside Windows while I work I can use. I found some free surface scanners tools but they take alot of time. Is there a faster tool that can give me the same effect of chkdesk c: /f /r ?

chkdsk is your only option. You can run from within Windows with chkdsk c: /scan and it will be faster.
If errors are found, you will need to execute using /f /r outside the OS.
It appears slow on HDD and the larger the capacity of the drive, the longer it takes.
The question is: why do you feel compelled to run it?

There is no substitute.

Just run chkdsk /r
The r switch implies the f switch.

So, for the C: drive it would be chkdsk c: /r
Ofc, it will have to reboot to run on the Windows drive.

In 40 years or so, I think I've run Chkdsk twice, maybe. It's certainly NOT something that we should need to run very often. There ARE actually Other programs that can run a integrity scan on a HD. EaseUS Partition Master, for one.

Personally, If I suspected that files on my SSD had gotten corrupted, I'd just do a Ghost Restore, to re-write my C: drive.
I'd not waste time screwing around with Chkdsk. Sorry about that!

Many power outage and my UPS need new battery that I can not find yet so I want to run it inside OS

This is the equivalent of chkdsk c: /scan, done thru the interface. (GUI)
It will look for problems but won't fix them. It will report back if further action is needed.
This would be sufficient to run after an outage.
Keep in mind that SSDs are by far more robust in handling errors and will therefore rarely falter.
HDDs are much more delicate but they are not your boot-up disks, so not critical.

'Most' every battery store will have replacement batteries for UPS's.
I've been working with UPS's since the early 1990's, and there is a huge difference between brands.
My favorite brand is the APC brand. Because I can remove the little GelCell battery and replace that with a full size Lead/Acid battery like one you'd put in a garden tractor. Like this.

With a larger battery, run time can be in hours, rather than just minutes. And, the tractor batteries are MUCH cheaper than the little batteries can come in USP's. (Just $29.95 at Walmart) Yes, some added wiring is required, and an in-line fuse is recommended (by me).
I didn't want this post to become "UPS 101", but it just seemed like a good time to relate some of my own experience.

It's summer here in FL, and lightning storms are a daily thing. One recent lightning storm took out our power for five hours. In the time it took for me to get switched over to Generator power, my three UPS's kicked in and keep all my electronics alive and well.

I'm glad to help anyone with UPS questions.

It is hard to find many things in my location however there was a company offered to install a car battery with the UPS and this will give several hours but I dont know how also I have saftey concern.
