Solved What is the OOBE KB5070349 ?

Can some one explane this , do I need to do a clean install of Windows 11 to get this update KB5070349 or do I get the same updates later via Windows update on my running system ?

Windows Out of Box Experience (OOBE) updates are just updates you get when Windows Setup checks for updates. No need to do anything.

OOBE Updates are dynamic updates to improve the OOBE setup process.... for corporate customers.

They don't really do anything for you (as a consumer), but you can't skip their install. After you're logged on, Windows Update history will report their presence. Post-setup, the updates won't affect your live system and don't need to install them if you don't have one listed.

MS is obligated to report that a new OOBE update has been released, as part of the KB reporting process.
