Hi,
So I've just switched from 10x64 to 11, and would like to transfer the profiles from an earlier g hub version which stored the profiles in AppData.
There appears to be no such location from G hub 2025, there is a G Hub folder in roaming, but cannot find any profiles there. I made one test profile, and it must be saved somewhere as I'm offline, but where?
A related problem might be that the profiles made on the older version are not compatible, but one problem at a time.
If logitech have nuked this ability, I don't think it was the best move.

Have you checked the registry?

Check out the user app data folder, see if this is correct? I can't promise you anything because I uninstalled it.

  • Open File Explorer
Start by pressing Win + E to launch File Explorer.
  • Reveal Hidden Items
Click the View tab (or View > Show > Hidden items in Windows 11) and make sure Hidden items is checked.
  • Navigate to AppData
Replace "username" with your profile username
    Code:
    C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\LGHUB

Probably looking for something like settings.db or profiles.db

Don't forget to show hidden items

    …still on a horse.
Yes, there are 2 LGHub folders, one in Roaming and one in Local. The new version also has a folder called G Hub which wasn't in the old version (99% sure).
I copied these folders from the old to new version, but no profiles were found in g hub.
I reckon they have a different format now, so thanks logitech .

Can't see how to edit the above post, maybe not allowed.
Anyway, the profiles in the old lg software are <.xml> files. I'll try to contact logitech support and ask them, but doubt it's doable.
