Solved Why does my laptop speaker not work?

Ok, I have tested the device/hardware and it works fine. No sound when watching YouTube videos and no sound through my headset when Bluetooth is on and connected including voice and music. Watched one movie and had great sound, went to watch other things and had no sound output from any device. I've tried everything I can think of, help please. And yes, the headphones are fully charged. lol.

Last night I had sound when using Microsoft edge, updated overnight, now there is no sound for youtube or netflix or facebook. Sound still works on chrome. where did the sound go?

If you have been using the player in "Exclusive mode", switch to "Shared mode".
MS Edge is always in "Shared mode".
