If you are using VPN connection, see turning off or uninstalling helps.

Open Command Prompt as an admin.
Type the following command and press Enter: netsh winsock reset.
Restart your computer.

It work now. Yes sometimes it take half day and this happening randomly from several months

It wouldn’t hurt to do what Freebooter says. I am not sure then if it is something in your PC, the country you are in, your Internet connection or your ISP. Because I don’t have that happen in Australia, maybe once a year if Facebook has problems.

Do you know how to inspect your “Hosts” file? Can you look in it to see if there are any entries to facebook or meta etc? Tell me if you don’t know.

I have to be honest with you, William. it could be anything. Like I said above, it could be your ISP, it could be your router has somehow caused issues for Facebook domain (I have seen it before, it’s happened to me with a website)

I would consider the following things:

  • Clear cookies/cache etc

  • Call your ISP and tell them what’s happening with just that one website. I have had the ISP unblock a webservice for me in the past, somehow “cloudflare” was hindered in my ISP’s settings and they corrected it. I don’t recall what they said happened but it stopped me from viewing any site that used cloudflare.
    Don’t use that as an example when talking to them, just ask if they know of any reason why Facebook would be the only site you can not load.

  • Disable your firewall/antivirus briefly and try to reload the page. If the page loads instantly then it could indicate something is blocked in them

  • Reset your router (not restart, reset). Drastic but often effective.

Just as an FYI but I occasionally see the same thing on my Facebook feed. It just seems completely random at times. I've really chalked it up as something happening with Facebook servers/connections outside of my control. I can log out then back in and it seems to be working normally.

    I'm a computer enthusiast so have quite a few systems that I run. More like an advanced hobby.
I get this sometimes, but not often.
However, I use a Facebook clone on Android, and in the recent feeds it loads no more than the last 5/6 most recent.
