Solved Why is there a Z: drive listed after partitioning my SSD?

Its loaded on this machine so yes, pretty sure I used EaseUS Partition Manager.

You may be able to decipher it better and instruct the OP in gettng rid of it. So I am passing the buck to you :-) .

Somebody else has already posted instructions for the DiskPart method in this thread and that is what I think zbook is now trying to guide the OP through.

The mountvol command usually works when diskpart remove or disk management fail to remove the drive letter.

Yes it was my post. The fix worked for me after using EaseUS.

I went looking for this solution, (afaik it was post#6), with the intention of trying it, but it seems to have been removed. :(

Only the Original Poster, replyer or site manager/s can edit or delete posts. For deleting/editing there is a time limit for the change. Maybe a problem was found with it.
