Solved Why is there a Z: drive listed after partitioning my SSD?

So that confirms that Z:\ is a partition of the main OS disk.
I think it's the EFI System partition.

Somebody else posted that they had partitioned their disk using the EaseUS Partition manager and they ended up with a Z:\ drive.
Did you also use this?

I do not know how you are going to get out of this.

Denis
Its loaded on this machine so yes, pretty sure I used EaseUS Partition Manager.

This is the information on Z:

Partition 1
Volume 2
System partition
File system FAT32
Size 499 MB

On a GPT partition the EFI or system partition is typically viewable in disk management and does not have a drive letter.

A letter is often assigned temporarily during troubleshooting.

The drive letter can be removed.

BobOmb posted the applicable command to remove drive letter Z:.

The mountvol command usually works when diskpart remove or disk management fail to remove the drive letter.
