I have a folder I dump all my Cellphone photos into before sorting. There are over 2,000 photo's in it currently. Every time I access the folder for the 1st time after a reboot, it has to re-acquire all the thumbnails... which takes a bit. Win 10 did not do this. It is the same with all folders, but this is the only one that I interact with often.
