Solved Win11 upgrade from Win10 fails no matter what I try?

I don't know all the details, another family member was the one who set it up with Win10 a few months ago. I think he had cloned Win10 from their older laptop onto this one. He then went overseas for work, which is why they asked me to help instead as nobody else in the family is 'techy'. The laptop is only a few months old, but they cloned Win10 over to the new laptop from the old one so everything would be familiar for the elderly couple (but he had never mentioned about Win10 support ending before he left and the owners of the laptop are not very techy so didn't know about it either), so they asked me to install Win11 on it when they got the big 'Win10 support ended' warning as they did at least know it had originally come with Win11.

So they didn't install the software, it was already still there when he had done the clone.

Are the new users of the laptop familiar with Windows 11? If not are they willing to learn to use it?

If they are struggling with Windows 11 there are ways to make it look like Windows 10.

I'm going to spend some time with them to explain the differences and set it up as similarly to Win10 as I can.

@darkstrike Windows 11 is BY FAR a superior OS, and once they get used to it, they'll learn that.
Move that taskbar and start button to the left . . . lol

Turn off AI in background, get rid of OneDrive, use O&O ShutUp 10++ and make it FASSST!
