Window Security notification - Incorrect

Hi Respected Team,

I am getting notifications on Windows Security to Turn on Kaspersky Internet Security though, Kaspersky is up and running.

any probable fix for this, for now I click Dismiss, however I continue to ger the notifications.

Are you sure ALL of Kaspersky is running? Have you tried clicking "Turn on Kaspersky Internet Security"?
I run Bitdefender Internet Security, and I don't have similar issues.

I know Bitdefender has a "few" modules though. Any of which could be running or not.

Thanks for your comment. Yes, Kaspersky is always running. when I click Turn on Kaspersky Internet Security, nothing happens as Kaspersky is up and running.

Then you're probably fine.
It sounds like either Focus Assist or Notifications (which I have turned off), is over reacting or making a mistake.

If you go deeper into setting for each of those green checkmarks, you should eventually get to where it says something like "Kaspersky is taking cares of things".

For example, when I click on Virus and Threat protection... I see this...

I think Microsoft is either a bit behind programs like Bitdefender or Kaspersky, or they are trying to scare you into using Windows Defender.

They have done this in the past.

This is one of the reasons, especially on a new OS, that I turn off Focus Assist and Notifications. :)

But leave it amrked as unsolved for now... someone else may have a solution that would allow you to run Focus Assist and Notifications, and NOT have that problem.


But Microsoft definitely cheats a bit when people attempt to use other Security or Browser solutions. :)

Side note: I have App & browser control, disabled. Firefox watches for bad websites, and I scan everything I download anyway. And Bitdeefender, even if I don't manually scan downloads... keeps an eye on them.

If you want to test Kaspersky, to see if it's on the job... EICAR has harmless test files, that should trigger Kaspersky to eliminate them.

They ARE harmless. They are made to "look" like malware, to test your security.

EICAR is getting pretty old though. There may be new ones out there, but I don't know what they would be.

I continue to get focus assist on to Turn on Antivirus, that too two notifications at a time.

Like I mentioned above... I disabled (don't use) either Notifications or Focus Assist.
