I already tried that, when I re-enable Secure Boot it fails again.
I think Dell want to see a production signature either embedded or in the catalog. They have the same problem with WinRE on Build 28020 because the winload.efi does not have a production signature, they have the Development PCA 2014 and Dell firmware does not verify that.

These are multiboot machines and the other Windows systems on the same box boot without any problem, it is just Canary that has these issues.

Anyone else keep getting a pop up to say "Turn on Virus protection. Virus protection is turned off. Tap to turn on antivirus windows defender"???? but when you click it says all protected and green?

Just noticed that details link under Security Processor title in Windows Security is back. wonder how long it takes for Microsoft to get that fix on other channels

All done and dusted and seems OK. As a feature update I had to re apply my usual custom reg file for font sizes and bold etc.

What I have noticed with this 29550 branch are (up to now) improvements in the user interface and the way things are reported. Downloading the update saw a smooth progression of the percentage figure and similarly with the actual install. No getting to 20% and then sitting there before a jump to 60% and so on. It pretty much went up progressively.

Disk clean was quick and no jumping back of the progress bar such as when deleting Windows Old. When finished the Window auto refreshed to save haveing to do that manually to see the new free space totals.

Whether that behaviour will continue I have no idea but I hope so.

Also just noticed that all my drives were Optimised at around the time the update finalised and booted to the desktop. Can't say I have ever noticed that happening before with updates like this.

After applying this update I find LibreOffice has issues. Everything on the top menu opens to a white box although clicking within the box opens whatever should be there.

More info. From the above screen if I click the up or down arrows on the keyboard then the menu populates correctly. 100% repeatable for me and still the same after a restart.

I just got a pop up User Account box while browsing asking if I wanted to allow an app to make changes etc etc. As I had not clicked anything I was suspicious and expanded the text links in the window. Once UAC pops up even pressing 'print screen' would not take a screen grab. The publisher was verified as Microsoft and another link in the window brought up a another small window with a tree of certificates I think. All Microsoft. The filepath for this app was Onedrive and it was called something like 'app patcher'. I just couldn't get any screen grabs while the small Window were open alongside the UAC one.

I have put the details to Copilot and got a detailed response which at face value says it is genuine. The file path I saw was directed to Appdata.

Short version from Copilot:

It was almost certainly a legitimate Windows component—specifically the new “App Patcher” / “Repair App” mechanism Microsoft is rolling out in Canary builds. It lives under your user profile (hence the AppData + OneDrive path) and is tied to the new Windows Update and app‑repair pipeline. Canary builds frequently trigger UAC for internal servicing tools, and Microsoft signs these binaries with standard Microsoft certificates.

Further testing shows this seems to be a Dark Theme issue. Long story short is that older versions of LO still have this issue on this Canary build (at least for me). If you have LibreOffice set to dark theme (as opposed to 'Auto') them you are stuck as you can not get the appearance menu to show.

Setting W11 theme to light followed by setting LO to 'light' and saving that LO as a setting followed by reverting W11 to dark enables LO menus to work correctly, allbeit with a light theme for LO.

On my system, this build crashes the "Graphics settings" tab in the control panel, can't access settings for HAGS, VRR etc...

Anyone else having this issue?
