    Still assembled, still runs. Haven't turned it on for 15 years?
Looking at the reviews for this listing there are people having issues activating Windows with the code sent to them.
One even said the activation code sent to him was reported by Microsoft to already be in use and would not work.

I've never had a problem activating any software I purchased from Stack Social so for that price I would jump on it. I wish I had a system running Home just so I could brag about the deal I got. There's more reviews reporting they had no problems activating than from ones who had a problem.

While stack social might be legit, a $19 windows 11 pro license is 100% guaranteed to not be on the up and up. But it may work and activate and that's all most people care about.

Most of these usually work -- not sure how or why but if they were illegal or highly irregular then I'm sure Ms or some greasy "Ham and Egger" lawyer type would scurry away from the deep recesses of dubious Californian court rooms to join the party as well in order to start dishing out Tort cases or other money grabbing ways.

I've 3 cheap licenses of Office 2021 which still update regularly and show "product activated" on the "account" screen.

Even if you only get 1 years use out of them it's still a bargain. If these things had serious problems or had "embedded pay dirt or other nasties" in them it would be all over the web.

A Caveat -- only buy products that have a key you have to enter - not "pre-activated" stuff and don't even THINK of touching anything that asks you to use a kms key for activation -- a 100% sign the software has been pirated or illegally copied.

I recently bought a Windows 11 Pro key from Stack Social for my wife's new Dell laptop. I had the issue from Microsoft saying that the key was already used. I used the telephone option to activate the code and it activated with no problem. I've had this happen with other codes in the past and the telephone option to activate the code always works. I should mention that the phone option is an automated computer conversation that guides you through the activation process. No human answers the call.

Most likely they are multiple activation keys from a volume license agreement. For example, a single key that can be activated 500 times. They aren't intended to be sold to consumers, but apparently there are Grey areas as these are sold all the time and its not something Microsoft has ever gone after. So, they sell them cheap. And they sell them over and over and over again and eventually they hit an activation limit and when that happens, it's usually a call to MS to help activate or they give you another key.

That's exactly what happened with me when I purchased a key.

paarks1 is absolutely correct. After several attempts to activate the key I purchased, I was on then on the phone with Microsoft for close to two hours. These key are leftovers, and I agree should not be sold to consumers. When you can't activate the key most people give up and say "oh well". I then went back to where I purchased the key and what a train ride.
I had to literally hound them to send me another key. They wanted screenshots and everything else in an attempt to get me to give up.
After three days they finally did sent another key and then I had to go through the whole phone activation scenario. Well I learned my lesson, even if they gave it away free I would look the other way. As they say, cheaper is not always better.....
