Solved Windows 11 pro sign in screen is showing amazon delivery info. How do I stop this?

But it’s a setting that is provided and I can’t find any documentation anywhere on the net (yet) that states Edge overrides the notification settings. I also don’t understand what Edge has got to do with emails other than being a carriage to log into Outlook. Also, if you can see Amazon emails on lock screen, you should see all emails. I have about 5 email accounts that I use exclusively for one thing. That email account is exclusive to amazon, I have an account solely for family and friends, and so on...

there are so many settings in edge that need disabled.. first off, turn off AUTO save on passwords (just prompt to save is enough), search for "shopp" and disable the 10000 things that show up there, then you need to disable creation of new desktop shorcut after EVERY update, then the follow creators feature has a sec. vuln so that needs disabled.. and of course the fugly sidebar and all of its annoying resource hungry components... Microsoft just wants to shove garbage down your throat through their browser.. exactly why i disable it to begin with

Well i'm just going to use that app and disable it. I never use it anyway.

But yeah, the amount of time I use up just turning things off on a new install has gotten a lot worse.
And don't even get me started on all the apps it takes to normalize windows to pre-windows 8 days.

curious.. what did it disable? i haven't noticed any differences other than no useless lock screen covering the logon screen

*side note - i also keep edge as my default browser so that clicking on url's doesnt work. i dont trust most urls.. so this way i will have to copy and paste it into a new window (from outside of my browser that is)

I don't trust url's either. So I just hover the mouse cursor over it to see what it is. And if that doesn't tell me, then I copy/paste it into google to see what it pulls up.
