Windows 11 won't install!

ChatGPT:

  • An in-place upgrade (repair install) of Windows 10 can:
    • Recreate or resize the WinRE (Windows Recovery Environment) partition if it's insufficient.
    • Repair or re-register a corrupted WinRE configuration.
  • It often resolves update error 0x80070643, especially when related to WinRE servicing issues.
  • It does not guarantee creation of a new recovery partition in every case, but it commonly does when required.

Have you tried to download the ISO again? Maybe the one you have is corrupt. Also check your CPU with CPU-Z to see if it supports SSE4.2 instructions. If yes, then you can upgrade from Windows 10 to latest Windows 11 25H2. If not, you can only upgrade to older Windows 11 23H2.

For latest ISO see here, scroll down to third option:

For Windows 11 23H2 (US version) see here:

Use Rufus to create the bootable USB flash drive and bypass compatibility check:

Check for SSE4.2 support with CPU-Z:
