Hi all

I've recently bought a new Asus laptop with Windows 11 installed. Somehow during set-up, I've done something daft and some Windows open with a black background in the window. On MS Word, I'm typing with white letters on a black page and in file explorer, the background is black too.
I know that there's a setting in Word to allow this black background to happen, but it's the same in other Windows too.
The laptop has an OLED screen so I shouldn't be complaining really I suppose!

Right-click on your desktop and select Personalisation or open Settings and go to the respective section. Then Go to Color and change from Dark to Light. If you want the earlier Windows default, select Custom and set Windows to dark (so you can use any color in the taskbar and window frame) and the applications to light.

    Legacy MBR installation, no TPM, no Secure Boot, no WDDM 2.0 graphics drivers, cannot get more unsupported ;) This is only my test laptop. I had installed Windows 11 here before upgrading my main PC. For my main PC I use everyday see my 2nd system specs.
