Currently, all Windows 12 news is speculation. Most of the sites taunting its release are not popular tech sites. The only one I have read that usually provides information of any accuracy is Lifewire and they say that everything floating around right now is rumor. MS is remaining mum about 12. Until MS makes an announcement, I wouldn't believe any of the hype.

I really haven't seen that. Sure there are some grumblers. There is with every OS, but IMO most folks like it and don't grumble as much as they did at first. One has to consider, it's windows. It has to work on hundreds, maybe thousands, of different hardware configurations and it's pretty darned solid on them all most of the time. MS can't please everyone.
As for 12, Beta testing may well begin in 2024. There is absolutely nothing official yet, not even any inside leaks. The folks across the web are guessing with rumors flying left and right. Rumors make good press and keeps the hype going. MS is gonna do what MS is gonna do and do it when they decide they're gonna do it.
