Windows - Application Error?

I randomly get this on shutdown on my laptop.

See if you can get more info on the error in event viewer. Maybe the data dump will point to the app.

All I can find around the time I shutdown last night was -

The server {AB8902B4-09CA-4BB6-B78D-A8F59079A8D5} did not register with DCOM within the required timeout.

The server MicrosoftWindows.Client.CBS_1000.26100.297.0_x64__cw5n1h2txyewy!Global.DesktopSpotlight.AppXmakp9w4re9tj70pp8mcdrt273xajen0x.mca did not register with DCOM within the required timeout.

The server Microsoft.AAD.BrokerPlugin_1000.19580.1000.2_neutral_neutral_cw5n1h2txyewy!Windows.Security.Authentication.Web.Core.BackgroundGetTokenTask.ClassId.WebAccountProvider did not register with DCOM within the required timeout.

WLAN Extensibility Module has stopped.

I really have no idea so I had co-pilot analyze your post. Here is co-pilot's answer.

The DCOM timeout messages you found are normal during shutdown and aren’t the cause of the popup.The meaningful entry is the WLAN Extensibility Module failure — IntelIHVRouter10.dll — which indicates the Intel Wi‑Fi driver crashed while Windows was shutting down.

Updating the Intel wireless driver from Intel’s site (not the laptop OEM) usually resolves this. You can also try disabling Fast Startup to reduce shutdown race conditions.

So I suggest you go to Intel and run the Intel Driver Support Assistant which will scan your computer and offer you all ypdated Intel drivers whick will include wireless and BT. After your drivers are updated, you can uninstall IDSA if you wish. Intel® Driver & Support Assistant
