I quite often set WD to run a full scan when I am using the pc and it says something like "feel free to continue using the pc while the scan is running".
Lately I have noticed that if I minimise the running scan and get on with other things, mainly online and then check how the scan is progressing, it has stopped or slowed right down. It can't be that my pc is too slow, I am using the Ryzen 5700G with 32Gb ram and a fast HDD, total overkill for mainly surfing the web, I know.
