Solved Windows defender - stops full scan

Windows defender does not end full scans, it always stops like this, remaining 5 minutes. Nothing changes in hours. Nevertheless, I get a pop up messages that scan ended with 0 detections, which is contradictory.
What should I do?

Seems to me that you just don’t see it at 100% but regardless, the scan has completed, hence the popup.
SFC and DISM can sometimes operate in the same manner, you don't always see 100% specified but none the less, it has completed as per the results.

I have observed this, even with a quick scan. The indications that it has finished (with the UI freeze being a glitch) are:
  1. The notification
  2. The Virus & threat protection "Current Threats" says it's finished (not sure if this would show for a full scan)
  3. The event log says it's finished (try creating an event log filter with "Windows Defender" as the source)
So I'd suggest ignoring it if 1+3 are true for you as well.

Yes, current threats reads full scan done
This is contradictory with what scan options indicates (see screenshot above)
I guess, I can asume that it is complete done, as suggested by you
