Windows eleven

Microsoft have been offering me the upgrade through Windows 10 update for a week now, It was first offered as 22000.194 via the Release Preview, then a day later the offers through WU started - I'm not ready to install it yet, I'm too busy with other software releases and don't want to skew tests, so I say I'm sticking with Windows 10 for now, and the offer disappears for a day or so then it's back
So far, I haven't seen another offer of Windows 11. I told it "No, Thanks" and I guess it took me seriously. :-)

I put it down to the fact that I've been in the Win10 Insiders Release Preview since the day it was first started, and was told I was in a priority group a year or two ago I have a copy of 22000.194 as a Windows to go so I can run it on my own hardware without affecting my Win 10 install, that I'm using to test some new Image editing systems, ... so it's Win Win from where I'm standing

As the release is only days away, I would expect the Beta program to be paused now awaiting the next set of Dev builds to reach a status that requires Beta testing - likely sometime in Mid 2022 Microsoft has stated that there will be a single major update each year, which I Imagine will be in the fall, given the release date of the current version

I guess there will be a lot of minor updates as more people use it and find things. My updates so far have been like lightning to install so I don't mind.

I just got a DEV update yesterday. I think it may have been out for a couple days.

Ease of Access is now Accessibility.

Dev builds are working towards the first annual update and have been for some time so I would not expect to see them very often until all the release hullabaloo has quietened down sometime early next year it should pick up speed again. we also do not know when or even if the dev builds will be open to the Insiders

Ease of Access is now Accessibility.
Hi, Wynona,

I think that only shows up in the Programs folders if there's nothing inside the Ease of Access folder except desktop.ini. The name changes back from Accessibility to Ease of Access if you drag another shortcut into the Accessibility folder. (I think, but then, I'm a senior senior citizen, so my thinking isn't always trustworthy.)

So far, I haven't seen another offer of Windows 11. I told it "No, Thanks" and I guess it took me seriously. :)
I have one of my Win 10 VMs updating itself to Win 11. Right now its at 95%

I'm definitely liking Windows 11 over 10 and that is why I recently invested in a new motherboard, CPU, and memory for the long run.
