Hi Guys

Today i received the 22H2 Upgrade for my Windows 11 Pro. Everything is working fine ecsept to the Point that the Security Health Center is crashing when i click on the Center Taskbar Icon.

In Windows reliability History is an Security Health Crash everytime. Sometimes the Dashboard opens but mostly not. Is this an known Bug from this Update? This is super annoying.

Have you had an update to Windows Antimalware Platform 1.0.2209.22001? I've been having problems with Windows security since this update. I've had to disable the TPM to stop the crashing

This problem is becoming more widespread, yours is the third report I've seen. I've made a few posts on here. The worrying thing is that once it's crashed the little green tick in the taskbar won't change to a red X or yellow triangle so there's no indication that the Security app has crashed.

One of my posts is here Update for Windows Security platform - KB5007651 (Version 1.0.2209.22001) problems

I can´t see your Feedback. I am so done with Windows 11. How the Hell could they release this Version? First was missing App & Browser Control in last Version and now the Sec Center is completely broken. I have a gaming and business Machine together. There is no possibility in near Future to clean install, i don´t have the Time for this.

You can uninstall that Antimalware update and use the wushowhide to block the update from installing again. Or disable your TPM in the BIOS.

OK. The following instructions will reset the Windows Malware platform to the default first install state.

Unplug/disable internet connection
Open the Security dashboard (if it will without crashing)
Turn off all protections (real time, cloud, etc)
Open Terminal as Admin
Type cd "C:\Windows\Program Files\Windows Defender" <enter>
Type .\mpcmdrun.exe -resetplatform

Reboot PC, before Windows starts get into Windows Recovery environment
From the RE click Troubleshoot
Click Command Prompt

Type rmdir "c:\windows\system32\securityhealth\1.0.2209.22001-0" /s to delete the folder (your WIndows may not show as drive C: but you can find it and change the drive letter accordingly)
Type del "c:\windows\system32\securityhealth\securityhealthservice.exe" to delete the file.

Restart PC.
Re-enable the disabled security settings (cloud, tamper etc).
Reconnect the internet and run wushowhide. The app will scan for Windows updates and you can then Hide the Antimalware one.

Same here, sometimes randomly I see the

I just noticed it is randomly reproducible in particular when scanning on demand from pop-up menu with RMB (right mouse button) any dir/file...
Just randomly happens and you'll notice the Security window will open all blank for a few secs, then showing Scanning: Unavailable.

It's these folders that cause the problem with the Security app. That folder will cause the app to crash. I had to restore a backup from before the update this morning, and then prevent the update from installing again. Security app works fine now.
