I have a question about Windows Update and 21H2. Here is a short video with win ver and other needed info in it.
If there is a particular file or tutorial I can use that is not too dense to read, please link it for me. I am having real issues and am almost ready to just buy another laptop. My Computer info is recorded in my System Specs sheet.

Most likely an issue exists with Version 21H2 no longer supported, current version is 24H2, 3 years newer. In such a case I would use the MCT/Microsoft's Media Creation Tool to download the latest .iso file to burn the DVD+R/DL disc or create the 8GB or larger USB Thumb drive and install then let the updates be done.

I’m sure there'd be others that share my opinion that you can type your problem and especially the Winver results into your help thread.

This doesn’t help when trying to see a video:

I can think of a few reason why you cant upgrade, TPM2 support needed for 24H2 would be one of them, if that of course is an issue.
The CPU seems to have SSE4.2 so that isn’t an issue.
In reference to 21H2, what about it? Again, the video is unreachable, for me at least.

Thanks for your answer.

I initially joined this forum because there were a number of more informed and dare I say smarter individuals than me when it comes to windows. I had asked similar questions in the past and the answers given to me were above my head. I did try one of the suggestions but after several attempts and a week of my spare time, I gave up. I asked again because I thought I found a better way to convey my issue.

So I have not done so because I could not figure out how to do it. I would like to if I can.

I can think of a few reason why you cant upgrade, TPM2 support needed for 24H2 would be one of them, if that of course is an issue.
The CPU seems to have SSE4.2 so that isn’t an issue.
In reference to 21H2, what about it? Again, the video is unreachable, for me at least.

I hate to type. I figured since I have already spent the time to include my computers information on the sheet accessible by sliding your mouse cursor down just below my signature pic and clicking, I wouldn't need to. Also the information is included in the video.

I think you need to be a Google user of some sort. That is something I found out recently.

i have a 23h2 iso from microsoft before they changed the DL to 24h2. i'll upload it to a file transfer link and then post back for you how-to upgrade

1) download the attached .zip and extract it. run the .cmd file as Admin (it is the TPM/Dynamic Check bypass from github). once it says Success in Green, you are good to install 23H2.

2) download the 23H2 ISO i have uploaded for you (from my personal collection - 100% straight from Microsoft before 24H2 was released)
*had to split it into 2 parts because free site only lets me upload 5gb max file. download both parts, place in same folder and extract with 7zip. it will combine the iso into a single file when extracted.

7zip - .https://www.7-zip.org/

3) double click the ISO to mount it. inside of the newly mounted drive, run setup.exe. this will install/upgrade your windows from 21H2 to 23H2.
