Hi Folks, how do I stop getting weather reports for locations I have no plans to visit? Google as my true location.

How are you accessing the weather? If your using the MS Weather App the locations are on top. Any location you don't want can be removed by clicking on the three dots.

I'm not accessing the weather app, it just appears on the locked screen but not seen again when I open m phone. So far, I've had same wrong location twice.

It wouldn't be shocking if your ISP had you at a false location.

You would also be affected by the location settings in Privacy and Security.

A VPN/Virtual Private Network hides your actual location on purpose, the reason they exist. The mention of phone suggests Syncing and the tower/s it can reach may do the same.

I have always strongly avoided giving my true location. Now I have learned its not a security risk and Google has my true location.
The pop up for weather for a location I never set appears on my phone when it is not open sometimes more than once daily.
