Yeah, i was trying to avoid that, that's kinda overkill, but it seems im out of options

Do the basics... which I hope you've already done as a matter of course.

Check your disk(s) - Crystal Diskinfo.. failing disk could be source of corruption.
If ok, run
chkdsk c: /scan
from an admin command prompt to check the file system on your Windows partition.

If those pass, consider attempting an in-place upgrade repair install of the same major build you have now:

(I think that's what the previous post suggests - keeps all personal data, programs of course).

If that fails, prepare for a clean install.

Note: have you been taking precautions which can mean you can avoid a clean install- i.e. have you been using 3rd party disk imaging routinely?
If you have a recent image created before this started, you could restore that.
