Asus Suite 3

Running Win 11, 22621.2248. My Motherboard is an Asus Maximus X Code series.

I recently updated to Windows 11 from 10 using the Windows update process. I noticed Windows Defender is now telling me that under "Device Security" > "Core Isolation" > "Memory Integrity" that my memory integrity is off. I enabled and restarted.

Now I get an error window, see attached. Upon investigating the driver I see it is part of Asus probe which I think is part of Asus Suite 3. Microsoft recommends updating driver but when I check the Asus web site I'm using the latest version of Asus Suite 3, V3.00.51.

Any recommendations other than pitching the software. Have to say I don't use it a lot and then for just a quick snap shot of temps and voltages, mostly temps.

Hi @Caledon Ken,
The driver is unsigned and therefore does not meet WHQL requirements in Windows 11 so the OS won't load it.
If Asus does not have an updated driver for it, that's about it. Asus has an MS store application now called My Asus.

I'd get rid of ASUS Suite III, as soon as possible.
It tends to cause a lot of problems, over time.

Use AID64 Extreme instead.


You can either have it show in the system tray (sensors).
Or on the screen (editable OSD)
And it monitors every thing, has bench marks and stress tests...
you can even monitor your comp, on your phone.

The driver would have caused the same issue under Windows 10, if you'd tried to enable Core Isolation.

Few of us used Core Isolation under 10, even though it was present. I've never seen it enabled by default.

One possible worry: when you uninstall a driver, a copy of it may be retained in the Driver Store. That will still block enabling of Core Isolation, even though the driver is not installed. It can be a bit tricky to delete such a driver due to permissions. I hope that doesn't affect you.

I built a new PC using an Asus TUF GAMING Z790-PLUS WIFI board a few months ago. The advice at the time was not to install any such Asus bloatware not to enable AISuite in the BIOS. All works fine without the bloatware.

I enabled memory integrity without issue.

I don't even recall enabling in BIOS so have to check that. I thought the AID64 product had a cost. Maybe it is worth it. I also have installed hwinfo and that gives me a lot of info.

Been using Asus Mobos since 2013, and found no reason to use this bloatware crap, except with my new Mobo for my 7800X3D,

it came with a free Asus ROG license for

Asus AIDA64 Extreme ROG​

Only way I could find to get the installer was through this (or the even worse Armoury Crate) Bloatware POS, but as soon as I got the link

I uninstalled all the useless bloatware POS, and recommend using , Revo Uninstaller (free versions fine) to make sure it's completely removed from your PC.
Caveat the Sonic Studio III tool seems to require it, for the "Virtual Mixer", but given the latest audio Driver actually disables that "feature", I see no need to use that.
Realtek USB Audio Driver VB6.3.9600.2342 For Windows 10/11 64-bit.
Special version for SS3 Virtual Mixer disabled for better stability.

Note: I'd used a sound card until this new Mobo had excellent onboard audio reviews, even better than the sound card + Custom UNi Xonar Drivers Official Page

I would say it's well worth buying an AIDA Extreme Licence if your Asus Mobo doesn't have this hidden ROG bonus, but check first it's not that obvious, or easy to find out.
My previous Mobo, didn't have this AFAIK, it was Asus ROG Maximus X Hero [2018-10-04] for an i7 8770K, so not sure when the ROG version was 1st offered, but it's listed as a ROG exclusive offer.

I'm not sure AISuite is in the BIOS, but Armoury Crate is for my B550 system. Go to the BIOS and look under the Tool tab for "ASUS Armoury Crate" and "Download and install AMOURY CRATE APP". A UEFI BIOS has the ability to download and install software even to Bitlockered Windows systems, and Asus boards do so by default. There's a good thread on it here and instructions on disabling it:


You'll still need to uninstall inside Windows. As for AI Suite, Asus used to make an uninstaller app, but it's become hard to find, and it didn't remove all remnants anyway. ISTR having to manually delete services and directories from Program Files, which went without any problems.

None of this stuff is necessary, unless maybe you're a kid with a window on your case and RGB lights inside, neither of which I ever understood, but hey, people love that stuff. The one thing I used AI Suite for was fan control, but basically the same feature is available in the BIOS itself. If you really want to set it up in Windows, FanControl is much more powerful and complete and works well with my Asus boards (B550 and Z87):


For hardware monitoring, there's HWiNFO (free), AIDA64 (paid), and probably others.

I'm not eligible for Asus AID64, at least I couldm't find any mention on the support page, and if I license for a year it is $104.04 so that ain't happening.

Time to consider a new build.

IMHO< do not install crate for ASUS!!!! It really screwed my ROG Z90 board up with CPU hogging resources with Crate installed and in Bios!!! IMHO

Armory Crate is some really messed up software. AISuite is not bad.

AISuite is not in the BIOS. Neither is Armory Crate (except for some stupid setting to cause the software to get installed after you boot).
There is a separate Armory Crate/Aura firmware that gets updated along with the BIOS though.
