You will need to find the product number or serial number of your laptop to make sure you have the correct bios. It's being blocked for a reason. Searching for "HP 14 Ultra Thin & Light 14" shows this,

but without correctly identifying the laptop this is just an example.

Yes I know. Two different specced laptops though. Most probably @Shiv Prakash is already up to date as Windows Update now annoyingly facilitates flashing the bios on mobiles.

There's really no reason to update the BIOS. The only reason I can see it being done is if you need a current version so you can install a more current CPU or you want TPM 2 to be defaulted on. Edit: Or to reset the BIOS because you messed the settings up so bad a reset is called for

BIOS updates are for more advanced users,.

So, it's wasn't successful.. you installed the wrong BIOS that makes it a failure. You need to find the correct BIOS and then update it again

BTW,, why did you update it to start with? 🤷‍♂️

Huh? Updating the BIOS and firmware isn't needed. Not unless you're
1 Changing the processor and the new BIOS is need
2 You want TPM 2 set as a default
3 You want to reset the BIOS

That's on you.. my only update the BIOS unless it's really needed and just updating it for the sake of it isn't required.
