Solved BSOD Only with EA Play Games

It's Windows Defender - the usual that comes with Windows 11 (check the list of started services - all standard) security features and the usual Windows apps).

In-depth details also shows it as Windows 10 - but that's because it's exactly what it is (W11 is more like a feature pack - placed on top of Windows 10). To this day - they still didn't manage to brush most Windows 10 labels under the rug - so it would be easier to pretend - that it's a new Windows OS (kinda hard when you bump into those details at every corner - for me at least). :)

Strange how its only EA games I've ever BSOD on. A 3070 should be more than enough for FIFA, its a poorly optimized game/platform.

Haven't play FIFA since 98 (FIFA 99) - on a PS console. Was running fine back then - but a lot has changed since then. Anyway - while cheeking that forum from EA with lots of complaints about performance issues - the majority have nVidia cards from the RTX 3xxx series (even 3090) - so maybe the game was done and tested mainly while using GPUs from the older generation or AMD. That's just a logical conclusion - since i've witnessed many times in the past - a given game running better on GPUs for which it was properly optimized (tho, usually through newer driver updates - in collaboration with the game devs) - than newer cards which were far more powerful (raw power that is). Around 6 months have passed since Fifa 2023 was released - and haven't seen a single line in nVidia driver releases - where they mentioned anything about Fifa 23 (being improved and such).

Still, performance issues is one thing and BSOD is another. Was checking their last patch and coincidentally, they should release one today (or in the following days) - FIFA 23 Title Update History for PlayStation, Xbox and PC Wouldn't get my hopes up - but who knows. Btw, if you check - Windows Update > Advanced Options > Optional Updates - do you see any drivers there (sometimes or more like usually they're older drivers - but it can also be a useful or newer driver among those)? Also, are the Chipset drivers installed: https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/03CHIPSET/DRV_Chipset_Intel_TSD_SZ_W11_64_V101188388284_20211019R.zip?model=PRIME Z590-V - cause i couldn't find this driver version in the report you share (tho, sometimes - it's installed with a different version than the one displayed with the installer - so, it's possible they're already installed).

1. I did the optional update now.
2. I installed the Chipset
3. I did a clean install of Nvidia Drivers (didn't connect to the internet on start-up)
4. BIOS is up to date
5. I have yet to install EAanticheat or EA play as that automatically installs when I run FIFA. Do you think installing EAanticheat manually is a better route?
6. I'll make sure everything is allowed through the windows firewall

After all the effort you've put in and if you still have issues, I blame EA. It looks like (based on other reports) that there are also issues on PlayStation and XBox platform with most EA games.
The weird thing is that not everyone have these issues, but for those who have, all other games still run fine, so it can't be hardware or too demanding games either (because other more demanding games run perfectly fine on any of the mentioned platforms)

Doesn't hurt to try. Not really sure, but i think Fifa 23 is using DX12 by default - and that sets it to DX11 (if it actually works).

He's at the 3rd re-install (2nd this past week). I think he swapped the ram - as for the other components - unless he has some stored around from past builds or knows someone who's whiling to help - only a service (or freelancer) could handle this type of job (for some is pleasure - for others tedious work).

Correct last night is a fresh install with only essentials installed so far.

I haven't replaced any hardware but I did run a memtest that passed 12 passes with no errors. I still need to test each stick individual, but how I am getting a range of errors it leads me to believe it's software/driver based. Also, how people seem to be getting the same with different types of systems.

I do not have another computer that I could pull parts from.

Don't know about others, but personally - i gave up on memtest86 long ago - since i find it to limiting (tests the ram "but only the ram" - and unless it's faulty in a specific way or you did some OC and can't handle those values - it's not really that good at recreating a real world scenario). Even Window's own built-in tool (Windows Memory Diagnostic) - seems to do a better job. You can find it at this path:

Control Panel\System and Security\Windows Tools

Other than that - I'd recommend: Prime95 and not just for memory - even tho, it can do that too to some extent - might even find some issue with the ram after couple of hours - which memtest86 can miss while running all night. Mainly cause memtest86 runs like a stable app (one that's focused only on ram usage - filling it up and doing random tests typical to storage units) - while Prime96 is a stress tool in the true meaning of this term. This too does not recreate a real world scenario (can't say that i'm aware of any that can place that much pressure on the system - the CPU in particular - even multiple of the usual apps used side by side), but that's just it - Prime95 overreacts the usage of a given app - thus, shortening the time it takes to bump into issues (tho, not as limiting - not bound to some random CPU tests - like similar apps). Yet, despite of being capable of torturing the components - they're still stable apps (even properly optimized - if you will). Point being - they can't recreate the buggy behavior of a faulty app/game (doing what's not suppose too). Here's a brief yet compressive info - since it's a simple tool...
